If you plan to conduct business in Manzanita during the 2025 calendar year, you are required to have a Manzanita business license. City Ordinance 24-03 Section 1 (c) defines a “Business” as “professions, trades, occupations, shops, and all and every kind of calling carried on for profit.” That includes contractors and trades working in the city limits. To acquire a license, please visit the City of Manzanita website, click on Departments, then Business Licensing. Choose the online option and complete the application form and make your payment. Please note, if you’re renewing your existing license, you will need your Manzanita business license number. This number is located on your existing business license certificate, or you can call the city to obtain the number.

The renewal DUE DATE is December 31, 2024. Payment must be received by January 31, 2025, to avoid late fees ($15 per month). Once your application and payment are received and approved, your license certificate will be emailed to you.

One to two employees: $100.00
Three to Five employees: $135.00
Six or more employees: $175.00
