🚧 Classic Street Connection Project is Kicking Off! 🚧

We’re excited to announce that the Classic Street Connection Project is officially underway! This project has been a long time in the making, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as construction gets started. A lot of hard work and dedication have gone into making this project a reality, and we’re confident everyone will love the results once it’s complete.

Starting Monday, November 3rd, Classic Street will be closed for construction between Dorcus Lane and Highlands Drive. In addition, Jackson Way will be closed at its intersection with Classic Street.

This work is part of the City’s ongoing Capital Improvement Program and will temporarily restrict through traffic in the area. Detour signage and access information will be posted, and we’ll share updates as the project progresses.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we improve our community infrastructure!

Envision Manzanita Comprehensive Plan Update

“You’re invited!
Join your friends and neighbors for a Community Summit on March 17, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.

At the Community Summit you will learn about Land Use Planning Goals 8: Recreational Needs, 9: Economic Development, and 14: Urbanization. We will be providing a presentation on Manzanita’s existing conditions, current policies, and applicable regulations for each of these goals.

We’ll kick things off with a short presentation highlighting Manzanita’s existing conditions, current policies, and applicable regulations for each topic area.

After the presentation, roll up your sleeves for an interactive group activity! You’ll have the chance to share your values, ideas, and concerns with neighbors for each topic while exploring large-scale maps. Note-taking supplies will be provided to capture your thoughts. Each group will then report back with their key takeaways.

The feedback gathered at the Community Summit will help shape future goals and policies as part of Manzanita’s Comprehensive Plan Update.

We hope to see you there!”
