NOTICE
Public Works will be closing the 5th Street restroom facility on the morning of September 17, 2026, and it will remain closed until the renovation is completed.
The work will include:
- Power washing and painting of the interior and exterior
- Sealing the concrete floor
- New plumbing
- New, durable ADA-compliant stainless-steel fixtures
- New, brighter lighting
- A new mural on the east-facing exterior wall
Other restroom facilities remain available at City Hall, City Park
and the Manzanita Visitors Center
City Council Selects Jennifer Watkins for City Manager Position
The Manzanita City Council has unanimously selected Jennifer Watkins as its choice to serve as Manzanita’s next City Manager. Watkins has been offered the position, and the City has begun contract negotiations with her.
The Council made its decision following an extensive finalist interview and community engagement process.
