Manzanita Public Meeting Broadcast

The March 6th, 2024 City Council meeting will be held at the Pine Grove Community House and will begin at 6pm.

In addition to attending in person, there are both zoom and livestream options that can be found by going to the city’s website. The City Council will be considering:

  • Contract amendment to build a new City Hall,
  • Discussion of the Gross Maximum Price (GMP) to Cove Built, LLC for the construction management/General Contractor (CM/GC) contract for the purpose of constructing a City Hall
  • An Extension of the Dune Grading for Views Moratorium (reviewed every 6 months)
  • Continuation of the Dark Skies Ordinance Discussion
  • Correction to the Water Operations Ordinance to allow for monthly billing among other items
  • Planning Commission Appointment

City of Manzanita Town Hall

City of Manzanita is hosting a Virtual Town Hall on the new City Hall and Police Station next week, Tuesday, February 27th from 5:30-7:00 pm via Zoom.

The project team will provide a comprehensive overview of the project history and timeline and working with our contractor, Jason Stegner of Cove Built will give an overview of what to expect next on site. The Project Architect, Chris Keane will provide an in depth peek into the design of the building, and the site plan. At the end of the presentation, the Mayor will moderate a question-and-answer session with the entire project team. If you have any questions about the project you can also send them to the city in advance – please send an email with your question(s) to cityhall@ci.manzanita.or.us  and note “town hall” in the subject line. We will do our best to make sure all of your questions are answered.  We look forward to seeing you there and if you cant make it we will post the meeting video on line so you can watch it anytime.
